Update has made the app very slow and hard to do stuff. The food search takes multiple times to push until it finally gives you the option to search. Very frustrating. It was a lot smoother before the update. I use it daily to track my meals but if it continues acting the way it does, I'm going to look for another app and uninstall this one. Don't add more bells and whistles to something that's working fine. You only make it slower and less manageable.

I dont know what they were thinking with this last update. The app is very slow and clunky now. when I search for meals, it will just show me the list of ingredients, not the actual name. Everything was divided up into multiple menus for no reason. If I want to update a meal or check what's in it, it takes me to the name change section, so I end up typing instead of scrolling. The app takes about 5 full seconds to open the search bar after I tap it as opposed to being instant like before.

I don't like the changes made to the sleep score. I wish I could delete the upgrade and go back. I like seeing how many sleep cycles I went through, restfulness, mental recovery, etc. And I PREFER seeing actual numbers. The new metrics just make it much harder to understand the readings. I don't even want to use it anymore. Which is a bummer because I used it every day. Users should be given a choice for how they want their score calculated/displayed.

Nathan Robert

Used the app a lot for most everything it can do. They updated the calorie tracking today. Particularly how you enter foods. Now much more steps and very clunky. Hate it. Probably gonna start tracking with Renpho instead. Creating new exercises creates bugs now. Can't edit targets from zero and have to push button on Watch 4 to get the screen to work when on that exercise.

I would like to be able to add notes each day to my sleep reports and more. Sometimes it does not track properly saying I've had more sleep than I did and so on. Maybe also add the ability to make small adjustments to the previous night's sleep record when this occurs. The ability to add notes throughout the app would be very helpful though.

NEW UPDATE: this app is now COMPLETELY USELESS for me. I used it mainly to track steps & sleep w/ my Google watch & samsung phone. Both trackers have gotten WORSE. Last version I was able to delete naps the app THOUGHT I was taking. I can no longer make ANY changes to sleep time or delete "naps." Frequently thinks I'm sleeping when I'm reading, watching TV, etc. Time spent relaxing is counted as sleep time & I can no longer delete it! step counter is MUCH less sensitive as well.

what happened to the sleep score? I liked seeing my cycles and how long in each zone and now its gone. very disappointed. i use the s10 paired with the watch 4 . In general it works well and I'm happy with the notifications and settings. The battery lasts 24 hours in real time use, talk to text works well.I wish you could scan UPC codes to add food quickly. When I push a stroller or shopping cart the steps don't add up like they should which is disappointing.

Mary S

I used to really love how the calorie counter would work. This new update is not it. I like being able to go back and see all the foods that I've eaten throughout the week. And now I can't even see what I've eaten on that day unless I'm looking at, you know, the first page. I tend to eat a lot of the same food, so I like being able to go and see what I've eaten throughout the week, but now I have to look up the food every time I eat it and then search for It.

this app looks nice and has a lot of features but none of them works well at all. It does a terrible job tracking workouts, even if you choose the walking option it will randomly miss large chunks of the walk. (yes I turned off power saving mode even when I shouldn't have to) Also the food tracking is unusable.

Abby S

I appreciate this app for all of the activity tracking and stats provided, as well as the calorie counting. That said, they've majorly dropped the ball with not having a simple deficit calculator. what's the point in tracking activity calories automatically if users then have to MANUALLY calculate what their daily deficit is? This is something you NEED to be able to see progressing through the day (like steps) in order to stay on track. Incredibly frustrating bc it's SO SIMPLE.

Terryann Cantalupo

EDIT - moved from 1 star to 3. I completed removed the watch from the app and reinstalled everything and it seems to be working. leaving it at 3 until it breaks again or works for a couple months. like others, this app has become unusable as it's not tracking ANYTHING correctly. My steps, very basic, read as one thing on my watch and something very different (less) on the app.

The sleep feature does not work with ultra watch. Pls Fix this! Unacceptable on a new product. My galaxy6 worked every time. Ultra works only some times and sometimes drops out hours of sleep. Sometimes doesn't record anything! Even in sleep mode. Super frustrating. I did clear the cache on Health. Didn't help

Sarah Smith

Lost ALL my tracking, stored foods, and saved meals from over 6 months of careful dedicates curation. Will not sync on any device including Samsung phones. Search food option used to live like Google where it updated options as you typed. Now - once it finally loads - you must type in multiple complete words before hitting search or you will usually get junk results. This went from a 5 to a 1 app overnight.

Something changed. My Galaxy S9 was able to measure stress pulse and oxygen levels directly from the phone. That was awesome. Now my S22 doesn't have that feature. I have to enter that info manually. I never complained much about that. Now an update occurred and I can't even manually enter those details. Now I can only look at the past entries. Very disappointing. Are you trying to force me to spend money for gadgets I don't need?

Tonya Morrison

Only decent for food/water tracking as it is not compatible with any other devices except Samsung watches, ring, phone, etc. I wear a Garmin watch and various other workout apps. Mistakenly thought SH would be ideal since it seems to encompass all of the tracking needs in one app. But, I do not carry my phone when I am working out. And since it isn't compatible with my watch or other apps to sync my info, it's pretty useless.

Wisdom Eguzouwa

Great app for tracking health progress. I have nothing to compare it to, but when it works it's Great. Lately it has been buggy, though. I workout with it while listening to music (spotify). I try to edit my reps and weight when I'm working out and it freezes and shuts down. it picks up where it left off, but it's hard to manage. If that gets fixed I would give it a 5.

CD Nelson

I used to love this app. I used it in conjunction with a galaxy watch... mainly for the sleep feedback. it worked great.... until it didn't. for the last several months my daily sleep and energy scores are completely messed up. I used to get sleep scores in the 70s and 80s. For the last several months the scores were in the 20s and 30s. upgraded the phone and the watch to the 25 ultra and ultra watch. still not working right. I heard its an issue. really sucks.

Taylor Whitlock

I've had an extremely positive experience with this app, up until the most recent update. Now, the meal searching function takes 10-20 seconds to load, often crashing before it does so. UPDATE: I tried clearing the app cache and it fixed some things, but not all. Everything except the search function works fast and well, tapping the search button still takes about 10 seconds before it actually pulls up the search screen.

Z. T. Hlaing

After the update, the app keeps crashing, has a "app has stopped working" popup every 5-15 seconds when logging food/weight, and the results for searching food are less accurate than they used to be. Also, the load times for searching foods is much longer. It seems like after the update, nothing got better, and several features got much much worse. I've been using this app for a while now and this is the first time I've considered switching to something else.

Kim. L.

the app is sluggish when syncing and is no longer syncing data properly. I have both the galaxy watch 7 and the new ring and my workouts and steps are inaccurate. the sleep measurements. no longer function properly. when I search for help online nothing seems to help. very frustrating. this has been an issue for about 2 months now and I have made sure everything is up to date. I want to uninstall and reinstall but the data is wrong and so my backup will be inaccurate but may not have a choice.
